🚀 Getting Started

Welcome to PartnerPal! PartnerPal is an advanced Discord partnership and growth bot designed to effortlessly connect your Discord server with thousands of other active communities.

⚡ Initial Setup in 4 Steps​

To begin partnering, configure your server using the /settings command.

/settings

Run /settings and use the interactive buttons to configure the four essential components:

1. 📩 Set Requests Channel​

Click Set Requests Channel and pick the channel where incoming partner requests from other servers will appear.

  • In this channel, PartnerPal will post the requester's advertisement alongside Approve and Dismiss buttons.
  • Any staff member who has access to view and interact in this channel can manage partner requests.

2. 📢 Set Partner Channel​

Click Set Partner Channel and select the channel where advertisements of approved partner servers will be posted.

  • Permission Requirement: The @everyone role must have View Channel and Read Message History permissions in this channel so partnerships remain visible to your community members.

3. 📝 Set Advertisement​

Click Set Advertisement to open the modal and input your server's official advertisement text.

  • Standard limit: Up to 2,000 characters.
  • Premium limit: Up to 4,000 characters.
  • Tip: Include what makes your community unique, channels/events you offer, and key highlights.

4. 🔗 Set Invite Channel​

Click Set Invite Channel to choose the landing channel where an invite link will be generated for your partner ad embed.

🤝 Partnering With Servers​

Once your server configuration is complete in /settings, you can start partnering:

  1. Random Partnering (/partner): Runs a search to find another available, eligible server in the PartnerPal network. You will be shown a preview of their server ad to confirm before sending the partner request.
  2. Direct Partnering (/direct-partner id:[ServerID]): Sends a direct partnership request specifically to a server by its Discord Server ID.
  3. Mass Partnering (/partner-mass): (Premium feature) Automatically reaches out to 7 available servers at once.

🎨 Previewing Your Advertisement​

Use the /preview command at any time to see exactly how your server's advertisement embed, icon, banner, and invite link will look to other servers.
